Bradley Golden - Director of Photography
"I
started out as an actor!" 25 years later Brad's career has taken quite
a few paths." I think I've done every job there is in this industry, no
wonder I'm tired." From P.A. to Producer, Brad has worked with some of
the finest talent in the business. Feature films (Big Trouble in Little China,
Vamp, The White Stallion…) Television (The Wonder Years, a few music videos
and too many commercials to count) and industrial videos have now led him to
his current position as Director of Photography for Technology Based Learning
and Research at Arizona State University." It combines two of my passions,
cinematography and education. I'm pretty lucky, I guess." After shooting
"14 days in America" he was thrilled to be asked to do it again. "I
think this is an important project and I'm proud to be a part of it." So
what does he conceder to be his greatest accomplishment? "Sarah and Abby!"
Gary Boulanger - Documentary Camera
Gary
Boulanger, has been producing media projects for the past twenty years, and
has been involved in the television, film and video community since 1982. His
projects have included narratives, documentaries, educational and interactive
media. Since 2002 he has been involved with Arizona State University as a videographer
and editor. His experience includes editing and audio including complex live
audio mixes. In the educational space he offers a discipline in production strategies
with mentoring for students at various levels of education.
Johnnie Mundell - Documentary Camera
Growing
up in Scotland with an insatiable desire to explore every hidden corner of its
vibrant green hills, Johnnie is a born adventurer. His journey into documentary
filmmaking evolved naturally out of his heartfelt fascination with meeting people
from all different cultures following their dreams, and a strong desire to share
these inspiring experiences with others. Johnnie is inquisitive and genuinely
interested in every individual he meets. With relentless enthusiasm, Johnnie
has followed opportunity all over the globe, always bringing his energy, dedication
and unique ability to connect with people to every project. In pursuit of his
dream, he has filmed a U.K. band in their tour across America, and has helped
produce a variety of short films in Scotland and abroad. Johnnie also thrives
on being pressure tested, and has proven to be a tenacious problem-solver while
working with increasing responsibility at several major film festivals in the
U.S. and U.K. As director of his own film company, Fyne Films, he is currently
documenting the extraordinary journey of a local man from Dundee who built and
funded a mobile medical clinic for the tsunami victims in Sri Lanka, and is
fighting against all odds just to do something good. Johnnie is also an avid
rugby player, kite flyer, food lover, recently aspiring surfer and overall,
big-hearted prankster who has a love-hate relationship with seeing flattering
things written about him.
Jonathon Meiners - Photographer
Based
in Los Angeles, Jon Meiner's is a still photographer working in the Hollywood
environment. He is also an established and experience assistant bringing qualified
skills to the production team.
His passion behind the lens began at the early age of eight years old, when
he borrowed his family's Kodak 110 camera to shoot the contestants of a local
cat show in his hometown of Rapid City, South Dakota.
His Study of photography brought him to Northwest College in Powell, Wyoming,
where his work gained recognition throughout the institution. After receiving
his BFA, Meiners accepted the opportunity to become the full-time staff photographer
for the renowned, Los Angeles, entertainment advertising print agency, BLT.
Twenty-six months and several movie posters later, he
decided to pursue other creative interests as a freelance photographer, which
included extensive travel through Asia, Europe and Central America.
Jonathan Meiners' insatiable curiosity on diverse subjects combined with his
photographic talent enables him the freedom to flourish both creatively and
professionally.
Syrus Mokhtari - Location Producer - Newcastle Gateshead
Syrus
Mokhtari was born in the North East of England and moved to Kharg Island in
the Persian Gulf at the age of six months. Syrus lived there for about a year
and a half before the island came under attack during its revolution. Syrus
and his family were evacuated and started life again in the North East of England
where he was brought up in a place called South Shields (near Newcastle). He
moved to Kendal (Lake District, North West) at the age of ten to complete high
school. Returning to Newcastle later and attending Northumbria University where
he graduated in Business Studies. After university he moved to London to pursue
a career in the city working for Lloyds of London. Syrus now once again resides
in Newcastle with broad business experience and a significant interest in creative
production.
Syrus has extensive knowledge of local infrastructure, economic development
and cultral diversity in the Newcastle area. As such he provides the production
organizers with vital logistical information and venue background data. Contact
